'In a fearful world, we need a fearless church.'

"The LORD says, ‘I was ready to respond, but no one asked for help. I was ready to be found, but no one was looking for me. I said, “Here I am, here I am!” to a nation that did not call on my name.’” Isaiah 65:1

Luke 18:1, Jesus explains the importance to “pray and not give up.” Colossians 4:2 says to, “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” We are commanded to be people of prayer, and since the beginning of time, Scripture proves that God moves when His children call for His mercy and help. If we want to make an impact in the world for Jesus, we first must submit ourselves to Christ through prayer. Let's be bold in our prayers for the glory of Christ and to further His kingdom.

Each week we want to highlight a specific focus for us to pray about together. For the next few weeks, we plan to pray specifically for the Church, Christ’s bride. It would be an honor if you prayed along with us!

Pray for The Church

“In such a fearful world, we need a fearless church.” C.S. Lewis

Lord Jesus, may your Church rise up in boldness, bravery and faith. In this world with wars, flooding, earthquakes, mass shootings, persecutions, and numerous other troubles, may Your church rise up as a beacon of Your hope, light, love, and peace. May we be a generation that seeks You and loves You with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength. Let us keep Your Word at the center of our lives, renew our minds, and drive us to action. You have gifted each one of us differently, giving us the strength to do the jobs You have graciously entrusted us with. Motivate us to give sacrificially, love unconditionally, and serve humbly. Give us Your eyes to meet the needs of those around us. Revive Your church, stir our hearts and affections for Your glory Jesus, and may this world never be the same because of it. It is in Your name that we pray, Amen.
