An Obedient Church

Jesus, in John 14:23 you said, “Anyone who loves me will do what I say.” We pray we will follow Your voice wherever You lead, no matter what the cost. Help us to desire Your will above our wishes, and let our goals be for Your glory instead of our own. Sometimes, You will ask hard things of us, things we are afraid to do, but we ask that instead of backing down, we will be eager to obey You. You don’t have to use us, but You choose to anyway. Please let us see obedience for what it is, a privilege and honor. You made each of us for a purpose; use us how You please. May our entire lives be surrendered in obedience to You. In the holy name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
