TFP Writing the Word: Promises

"For all of God's promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding 'Yes!' And through Christ, our 'Amen' (which means 'Yes') ascends to God for his glory." 2 Corinthians 1:20

Since February, The Front Porch has been writing out Scripture on a daily basis. We have written all about love, and how Christ makes everything new. We wrote out what Scripture says about Jesus' final days before His crucifixion and we have written many more beautiful passages of God's Word.

One of the most wonderful things about writing Scripture is reminding ourselves of the limitless power we have through God's Word and the Holy Spirit. Often, however, it is easy to allow all the worries and stresses of this world to crowd out what we know is true for us as children of Christ. So this month, let's focus in on the powerful and life giving promises of Jesus Christ. In Him we have a beautiful inheritance (Psalm 16:6) and a future of life-giving hope (Romans 5:2).

Whatever you are currently walking through in your life, let's cling to these words of God, knowing that because of Jesus, these promises will come to pass in our lives in our Heavenly Father's perfect timing.

Thank you for walking with us on this journey of dwelling in His Word. He has so much good in store for us!
