How Can We Pray for You?

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." 1 John 15:14

Everyone carries a burden. Whether you have something weighing on your heart for yourself or for someone you love, each of us have something (or someone) to pray for. One of the most beautiful things about the church of Christ is that we can "bear one another's burdens" (Galatians 6:2) in prayer and encouragement.

TFP was created to be a community, and although we all may not know each other, and although we may never see each other face to face, we can still be a group of women who love, serve, encourage and inspire each other. Because of that, we want to pray for you however we can. In fact, we don't just want to pray for you, we would be honored to.

"As for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the LORD by failing to pray for you. And I will teach you the way that is good and right." 1 Samuel 12:23

So if you have a request (no matter what it is!) we would love for you to send it our way. If your request is not a private request, leave it in the comment section below, that way many of the TFP readers can pray along with you as well. If you have a request you would like to keep private, click here to send a personal email that will be kept in confidence. If you see a request commented below, feel free to reply to the comment with a prayer or letting that person know they have been prayed for. God's Word says there is power when His people pray and there is so much beauty knowing we are not walking through this life alone.

We commit, in advance, to pray for you continually, it would truly be an honor to go before the Lord on your behalf.

"Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him. Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much." James 5:14-16

    1. Praying for you and your boys as you love on them and as they work through their pasts. Jesus is so near and what you are doing will build a strong, God-honoring foundation for them, not only for their lives in the future, but for all of eternity!

  2. I have a heavy burden for my siblings that do not have a relationship with Christ. Please pray that their hearts and eyes would be opened to the One True God and that they will receive Him and live for Him the rest of their days.

  3. My daughter, Sylvia, who lives in Texas is due August 4 with her second child. She has had such a long struggle to get here and we are so thankful for God's protection of this baby so far. Please help me to pray for her as she is getting near to delivery time, for her health, the baby's health and for Nana to be able to time it just right for me to be there. Thank you in advance for your prayers. Jenn Norton, I will be praying for your boys.

    2. Debbie - We are thankful to God that the Lord has protected Sylvia and that sweet baby growing inside of her! We are praying for a smooth and healthy delivery and baby and that you will be able to have the perfect timing in going to Texas! We pray the moments will go slow for you after the baby is born so you can soak up as much as time as possible with your grandchild! We are so excited for you! Congratulations! We will continue to pray. God bless you.

  4. TFP neighbors/sister, please be in prayer for my family. It's been a very rough year as we've faced loss, grief, financial troubles, illnesses and even having a loved one move all the way to the other side of the world for a job, all of which have created so much sadness, stress and worry in our hearts. But praise God, who has been gracious enough to allow us to stick together and support one another in everything. It's been a very rough year and a half, but I ask that you pray for the Lord to provide some light and encouragement in these seemingly unending trials in the recent months. Thank you, sisters! Grateful for each one of you who have joined this community!

    1. Annie, I am praying for you and your family as you guys continue to walk through this difficult time in your family. I am praying that you guys are on the other side of this hard season. I am also praying for unity among your family and that each circumstance will create a great opportunity for each of you to shine the light of Christ even more. I am also praying for the presence of Jesus to be so near to each of you because His presence is what changes our hearts and fills us with joy!

  6. I would ask that we pray intently for our country, and our world. It is obvious that the enemy is working his very best to tear us down and apart. This breaks my heart but I want it to cause us to fall at the feet of Jesus and ask Him to bring us comfort and unity.
